Nick Horrigan is an artist whose career has explored an eclectic mix of creative fields from lighting design to curatorial work spanning 20 years. He graduated from the University of Northampton in 2004 with a First Class Honours in Fine Art. Since then he has been commissioned to work on a diverse range of arts projects and installations in the UK and Australia.
The hub of his practice revolves around sculpture which aims to develop a dialogue between Materials, Process, Architecture and Environment. Through an intuitive blend of these elements he creates dynamic and challenging site specific artworks from the ephemeral to large installations and public works. The core of the practice is centred in abstract developments with human scale and connection being pivotal to its form and place.
